Founded in 1967, the National Council on International Trade Development is a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to providing direct expertise on a wide range of international trade topics. 

The National Council on International Trade Development (NCITD), founded in 1967, is a nonprofit membership organization supported by American industry. NCITD is a legal regulatory trade association (501c6) that focuses on U.S. compliance issues and regulations. We are dedicated to providing direct expertise on a wide range of international trade topics. The Council focuses on export and import regulations, as well as new or emerging issues.

NCITD’s primary objective is to keep our membership informed while maintaining direct contact with the regulatory policy-makers. Our membership is made up of experienced professionals who can provide practical perspectives on compliance with complex regulations.

We encourage potential members to attend one of our monthly trade meetings as a non member to understand the benefit of being a part of our community. Learn more about attending one of our monthly NCITD trade meetings.
